Full computer control with MegaSquirt Pro 36-1 crank trigger, wasted spark, direct port injection bi-turbo setup with automated nitrous control to aid in low RPM spooling, flex fuel sensor input to run any mixture of race gas to ethanol with no separate tuning needed as mixture changes. Full computer controlled automation programmed in the EFI to turn on the second stage fuel pump as fuel demand needed it, scavenge pump for oil drains at the cylinder head based on RPM, etc. Full control taken care of so the focus can be the driving. Look at the datalog later for a full analysis of the run!
Holley Sniper 4-barrel EFI installation on a small block 350. Full installation of electronics and fuel system, with proper tuning and setup. This system is VERY user friendly for the owner as no laptop is required for operation. All tuning is done automatically by the computer housed in the throttle body after parameters and targets are set into the handheld touchscreen display. Once setup, idle speed, air/fuel mixture, electric fan control, etc, is all taken care of by the computer so you can enjoy the drive!
Custom EFI using MegaSquirt 3X. Full laptop control for tuning. 36-1 crank trigger to individual high powered ignition coils at each plug, direct port injection, all automation for the methanol injection, vacuum pump valves, etc, are all controlled by the computer with our programmed parameters. This system is what we ran for our record 155.186MPH run on the salt flats in 2019. Full EGO correction kept the car in tune during the entire run. With a blown second gear we were able to shift to 3rd way below the powerband and still pull through the gear to start making boost because the tune was so clean and optimized even in the "not ideal" driving area of the fuel map. EFI made it possible!
Our datalog of that run was able to show us every parameter of the run to see where things did, and didn't work as we wanted as the event progressed to finally get the tune where it needed to be
We added EFI to this 1835cc engine when we added the turbo system. Utilizing the VW of Mexico EFI intake system and custom built intake and exhaust, it's running on CB Performance Gen 3 ECU. System was built to be completely under a closed decklid. 8psi of boost was just what this engine needed!
